  • Filing tariff petitions and regulatory submissions under the Electricity Act, 2003
  • Execution of Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), financing arrangements, and other commercial contracts
  • Supervision of statutory audits, cost audits, tax audits, and CAG audits
  • Preparation and finalisation of Ind-AS compliant financial statements
  • Implementation of enterprise-wide financial systems including SAP-ERP
  • Oversight of accounting, taxation, costing, and treasury operations
  • Coordination with electricity regulatory commissions and other statutory authorities

He also played an important role in joint venture arrangements and infrastructure sector collaborations, including projects involving major public sector power entities.

Governance & Institutional Responsibilities
During his tenure with IPGCL and PPCL, Mr. Jain handled several governance and institutional responsibilities, including:

  • Oversight of corporate secretarial functions and Companies Act compliance
  • Organisation of Board Meetings, Audit Committee Meetings, and shareholder meetings
  • Coordination with senior government officials and regulatory authorities
  • Development of internal governance frameworks including delegation of powers and procurement manuals
  • Serving as Member Secretary of the Wage Revision Committee for the Delhi power sector, chaired by a retired High Court judge
